It's that time of year again, summer is quickly coming to an end and school will be open soon. For many of us that's not going to look the same, covoid-19 has many of us changing our children’s school plans. 


No matter what type of learning you choose for your child your will need supplies. This list will help you find it for both in school and virtual learning. 


I’ve searched for some of the best deals. Best of all you’ll have options: purchasing in store, online or pick up/drive up. Whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Fun ideas for Forth of July


Independence Day is almost but sadly more and more events are being canceled for safety reasons resulting from: Covoid-19. Many family BBQ's have been scaled back and some Independence Day celebration are being put on hold. In this uncertain time we still need to celebrate this important Holiday.

Good old Potato sack race is such a fun game. Check out these patriotic potato sacks on amazon. Get out the camera you're sure to get some great photos from this. 

Why not light up the night with these patriotic flashing bulb necklaces

FREE and CHEAP Things to do this Summer


Summer Break is upon us. I'm sure you're wondering "What can I do this summer with the kids that won't break the bank?" No worries we can help you with fun ideas to keep your kids busy this summer. Best of all, most of these ideas are FREE or CHEAP. 

Normally we have more options to choose from when it comes to indoor activities but because of Covoid-19 many things have been cancelled or postponed.

SUMMER READING

Visit your Local Library. 
Public libraries across the country offer summer programs for kids and teens. Although many might be doing it online this summer. Contact your local library to see what they’re doing.

Check out Diary of a Wimpy Kid ​books. These books are great for kids in 4th grade to middle school. My son is 10 and loves them. Also some other fun graphic novels to read over the summer are Captain Underpants, and the Dog Man books​.

OUTDOOR FUN



Get the kids moving outdoors. Go for a walk, or go for a bike ride. Help your kids stay active and get more exercise by getting outside every day. It will also improve their mood.



Open a door to our national parks—where learning and discovery come alive! Help more kids experience our country’s beauty, history and culture through the national parks.


Fourth graders and their families can visit national parks for free. Get free access to national historical sites, parks, forests, and waters.

Complete a series of activities during a park visit, or download special interest books to do at home. Junior Rangers are typically between ages 5-13, but park lovers of all ages can participate.

Connecting kids to their national parks through introductory fishing activities.


Make hikes at nature reserves and parks in your area even more fun with REI's free Kids' Adventure Journal, where young hikers (ages 6-12) can log notes and draw pictures about their experiences. 

Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using GPS enabled devices and then share experiences online. Go on the world’s largest treasure hunt HERE!
