If you haven’t heard already Easter falls on April 1st this year. I don’t remember in my lifetime it every falling on April Fools. I know as a parent I'm going to take full advantage of this day to play some tricks on my kids.
FOOLING FUN IDEAS
Find the Easter Basket-Hide there Easter Basket and make them follow a trail of eggs or feathers to find it.
Candy Replacement Trick-Unwrap Cadbury Cream Eggs and replace them with grapes.
LolilpopTrick- Use tissue paper to wrap broccoli into a round shape. Then use a lollipop stick for the bottom.
Easter bunny "poop"- When your child enters the bathroom they'll be greeted by a sign saying "I forgot to flush " and jelly beans inside the toilet.
Stuffed Animals use the potty-
Line up stuffed animals to use the bathroom. Place one of those animals (one that won't fall in) on the toilet.

Yard Peeps- This one takes some time and patience. It's worth it though. You'll not only make the kids laugh but so will the neighbors. Place peeps on skewers and line them up in the yard.

Silly String- Do this one outside. Sneak up and child and cover them with silly string.
Buy some extra cans and have a silly string war. You’re kids will get a kick out of it.

Blue Milk- Mix blue food coloring into your milk jug. Then pour your child a cup of the milk.

Pretend Eggs for Breakfast-Fool your kids with fake eggs for breakfast. These are sqiushy eggs do you can also place them on places like computer keyboards.

Eyes on you-Put sticker eyes on items in your refrigerator. Sticky eyes are also fun to put on sandwiches and other food items.

EASTER BASKET PRANKS
Egg Trick-Use several different sized plastic Easter eggs. Start with the large plastic egg, then the next size etc.Keep going until you get to the smallest egg which you place Jellybean in. This is sure to frustrate your child.

Confused Easter Bunny- Wrap your child’s Easter candy and gifts with Christmas, or Birthday themed wrapping paper. After you see their face you can tell them that the Easter Bunny says "April Fools!"
EGG HUNT APRIL FOOLS
Have an indoor or outdoor Egg Hunt.
Fill the eggs with pranks: pretzels, candy wrappers, fruit, etc.

Fake Critters-Put fake spiders and other gross critters inside plastic eggs.

Money-Put fake money inside plastic eggs.
Real Egg Prank-put a real egg to one side of the egg with crazy glue. When your child opens the egg the real egg will break open.
Sit back and laugh at their reaction as they open the eggs.
