Kindle is a great way to do that. Easy to find books for all reading levels. They can read at home or on the go. Since they probably won’t forget their devices when going places they won’t have an excuse not to fit in reading.

Get unlimited access to over a million books to titles, browse popular magazines, and listen to thousands of books with audible narration. You can listen on any device with the Kindle app.
Also, another favorite of mine is audiobooks. Not just for myself but my kids love them. Kids enjoy stories being read to them and audio books have professionals reading a story to your child. Plus you listen with your child and ask questions to help build important compression skills. Great for car rides too.
